Kashawn Aitcheson and Dalyn Wakely scored power play goals to help the Barrie Colts to a 3-2 win over the Owen Sound Attack in Ontario Hockey League action Wednesday evening at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre.
Grayson Tiller also scored for Barrie (27-14-1-1), which won its third in a row.
David Bedkowski and Pierce Mbuyi had the goals for the Attack (13-25-2-3). Owen Sound has now lost back-to-back games.
Ben Hrebik made 24 saves in the win, while Carter George stopped 29 taking the loss. The Colts outshot the Attack 32-26 while going 2 for 4 on the power play; Owen Sound finished 1 for 4.
Next up for the Attack is a trip to Kitchener Friday for a Midwest Division battle against the Rangers (31-9-3-1).
