As of the first of this month transit fares were changed in Collingwood. Some fares have been increased for the first time in five years. However a student fare monthly pass went down by half to $15 per month. An adult monthly pass is $41 and Seniors pay $31.
The increases have been attributed to the cost of operations including gas, parts, and labour.
