Hanover police made a couple of late night arrests this week.
Police Chief Chris Knoll says on social media, officers arrested a 49-year-old man from Dundalk overnight Tuesday into Wednesday for break and enter with intent and mischief under $5000 after investigating a break-in to a commercial property on 7th Street in Hanover.
Knoll says he was later released from custody on his charges with conditions for court.
Meanwhile, Knoll also says officers working the nightshift arrested a 35-year-old West Grey man for trespassing by night and breach of probation after responding to a prowling complaint at a residence on 9th Street. Knoll says officers located the suspect prowling around a house at the time of his arrest.
He says further investigation determined the suspect was also wanted on charges by the South Bruce OPP.
