Fireworks led to weapons charges, in a strange case in Exeter.
OPP say officers were patrolling the town January 2nd, and observed an individual setting off fireworks while walking on Anne Street.
Police say they arrested the individual and located illegal weapons and drugs.
A 35 year old South Huron man has been charged with:
- Possession of a Prohibited Device or Ammunition – (two counts)
- Carry Concealed Prohibited Device or Ammunition – (two counts)
- Possession of Methamphetamine
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking
- Possession of Firearm or Ammunition contrary to Prohibition Order – (two counts)
