West Grey Police say a man has been charged with second-degree murder in relation to a homicide investigation into a death in Durham.
Police say in a brief update the man who was arrested after a stabbing in Durham Saturday was Scott Timbers, 36, of Thornton, Ont. He faces a charge of second-degree murder and is currently in custody.
The accused is due to make an appearance in a Walkerton court at a later date.
West Grey Police officers responded to a report of a stabbing in Durham Saturday. A 35-year-old West Grey man died from his injuries.
Police have not identified the victim, or provided much additional information about the incident.
“This is an open and ongoing investigation,” West Grey Police say in a statement.
