Owen Sound has welcomed Grey and Bruce’s first baby of 2025.
Devon Twigger gave birth to a baby boy, Walter Boone Twigger, at 2:56 am on January 1st.
Speaking with Bayshore News, she says that she wasn’t expecting him quite so soon – her expected due date was January 5th.
“It was exciting… different,” Twigger laughed. “I didn’t think I was in labour.”
Twigger says that a name hadn’t been decided on in time for his arrival, who is her third child, and third son.
The baby was born weighing in at 7 lbs, 1 oz.
She adds that she had family with her for the big arrival.
Mother and baby are doing well, and are happy and healthy, and there are two big brothers are excited to meet their baby brother.
Hanover & District Hospital says their first baby of 2025 is Lucy Marie Rogister, born to parents Kelsey and Vincent Rogister, and big brother Dalton. She was born at 2:41 pm on January 1st, weighing in at 7 lbs 13 oz and 20.5 inches.
South Bruce Grey Health Centre says that the first baby born at their hospital was a baby girl born to Brittany and George Dickert. Their daughter was born on January 3rd.
