Owen Sound Police say they have seized a large quantity of drugs after responding to a domestic assault.
Police say on Dec. 28, officers responded to a domestic assault in the 1000 block of 3rd Avenue East. An investigation led to the arrest of a 47-year-old Owen Sound man.
As part of the investigation, police say they obtained a search warrant for the residence, which resulted in the seizure of a large quantity of fentanyl, cocaine and methamphetamine.
Police say the seized drugs equates to 2,030 individual doses and has an estimated value of $47,000.
The accused was charged with robbery with violence, three counts of uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm, three counts of assault, two counts of assault with a weapon, sexual assault, sexual assault using a restricted or prohibited firearm, two counts of forcible confinement, two counts of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, three counts of possession of a substance, three counts of possession of a substance for the purposes of trafficking, and possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing that was held on Sunday.
