The City of Owen Sound is inviting residents to a New Year’s Eve celebration to usher in 2025.
The celebration will be held on Dec. 31 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Julie McArthur Regional Recreation Centre.
Attendees can take part in public skating from noon to 3:45 p.m. and open swim at the YMCA from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Additionally, the Owen Sound and North Grey Union Public Library will be on hand offering button making and a scavenger hunt.
People can also create their own balloon, decorate cookies, make use of open gym time, create crafts, and get their face painted.
Artists Charlie Gillespie, Vaughan Coffey, and Levi Wathke will be featured at the event performing live music.
The event will also include organizations with a focus on youth.
The event is free to attend, but donations will be taken at the door.
