The Town of Saugeen Shores says it has received notice that work on the planned Cedar Crescent Village on Port Elgin’s waterfront is set to begin.
They say on Friday, they received notice from numbered company 2706913 Ontario Inc. that work is set to start January 3rd, 2025.
The Town says in a statement, “This significant development marks a new chapter for the community, bringing together commercial and recreational spaces designed to enhance the quality of life for both residents and visitors.”
It adds,” The Cedar Crescent Village project will blend modern amenities with the dynamic atmosphere of Saugeen Shores, featuring retail and dining options, along with welcoming public spaces that enrich the Town’s waterfront offerings.”
They note, the project is advancing in accordance with the lease agreement between 2706913 Ontario Inc. and the Town of Saugeen Shores.
