Barrie Police have added a new and extremely effective program to their investigative efforts.
The CamSafe program allows police to locate and log into registered security cameras in communities. Police say they if a camera is registered, the owner would be contacted and asked if it can be used in a relevant investigation. Police emphasize they will never have access to the camera feed.
CamSafe offers an easy to use platform for residents, who can create their own account, add any cameras they have, and modify their own information if needed.
