Bruce Power has agreed to a partnership with Toronto’s professional women’s hockey team.
The power company is now an official partner of the Toronto Sceptres.
The agreement covers this season and next season, and the company will be featured during the Sceptres PWHL games.
The aim of the partnership is to support young players provide opportunities for local youth to get involved, including hockey teams from across the region getting a chance to meet a PWHL player at the Caitlyn Cobean International Silver Stick Girls C Final tournament on December 14 at the Plex in Port Elgin.
In a media release from Bruce Power, Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice-President James Scongack says that hockey is a big part of our community, and that they’re thrilled to be helping the Sceptres promote women’s hockey.
