Having successfully delivered on 90% of targets that Wasaga Beach Council set for itself – town officials have approved the budget for next year.
Mayor Brian Smith said in a release that council “will continue to be laser-focused on providing value for money, identifying clear priorities and working quickly to move our community forward.”
He cited three major accomplishments for Wasaga Beach – funding secured for the town’s first high school and to help offset policing costs, additionally the award of an RFP to Stonebridge Building Group along with the agreement with Sunray Hotels to redevelop the beachfront.
