Public Works crews continue snow removal operations as a result of last week’s snow event, focusing on pushing back snow along roadways and sidewalk clearing. The Significant Weather Event remains in effect until further notice.
Rolling road closures will take place from 7 p.m. on Wednesday, December 11 to 7 a.m. on Thursday, December 12 to facilitate snow removal in Downtown Bracebridge. Traffic control will be in place while work takes place. Please keep the area clear during this time and ensure there are no vehicles parked on the road.
Snow removal will take place in the following areas:
- Dominion Street from Manitoba Street to Ontario Street;
- Quebec Street from Dominion Street to Church Street;
- Ontario Street from Dominion Street to Church Street;
- Kimberley Avenue from Manitoba Street to Ontario Street;
- McMurray Street from Manitoba Street to Quebec Street;
- Nelson Street from Kimberley Avenue to McMurray Street; and
- Buller Street from McMurray Street to John Street.
If time permits, crews will also work to remove snow along John Street from Buller Street to Willis Street, and Willis Street from John Street to Manitoba Street.
