A-I modelling for 2025 says we will be paying even more for food. A report released today says in total food costs will go up between 3 and 5 percent – but meat will be more than that with projected increases of up to 6%.
Canada’s Food Price Report 2025, published Thursday, says food prices will continue to outpace Canada’s target inflation rate of two per cent.
It all means a an average family of four will spend $800 more on food annually for a total of nearly $17,000.
