Collingwood General and Marine Hospital is beginning construction of a new, state of the art MRI suite. Provincial funding announced in 2022 followed by a year of planning, and community support to the tune of 5 million dollars will see the suite with an expected completion date of end of next summer.
Hospital officials say the hope the MRI unit will be operational by next fall.
