One man is facing charges following a stabbing incident that happened in downtown Owen Sound this morning.
Police were called to the 800-block of 2nd Avenue East at around 4:50 this morning, after reports of a stabbing.
City police found two men were found injured and taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect, a 23-year-old man from Owen Sound, was take into custody and charged with two counts of aggravated assault, as well as one count of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
Owen Sound Police are continuing their investigation into the incident.
The accused is held in custody pending a bail hearing scheduled at the Owen Sound Ontario Court of Justice.
The involved individuals are known to each other, and there are no public safety concerns.
