A joint effort between police street crime units and OPP across Simcoe County have led to a massive drug bust and the largest seizure of fentanyl ever in Simcoe County.
An investigation into drug trafficking was initiated by Orillia Street Crime in October and focused on two individuals – both from Wasaga Beach.
The pair, a man and a woman were pulled over on Mosely Street and arrested.
Aside from the fentanyl, cocaine, meth, shatter, cash, contraband cigarettes, and drug trafficking equipment was seized.
The 38-year-old male has been held for a bail hearing
A 40 year old female was released with a future court date.
Both face numerous drug and drug trafficking charges.
