A Georgian Bluffs resident has died in a collision on Highway 10 in Chatsworth.
Grey Bruce OPP, Chatsworth firefighters and Grey County paramedics responded to the incident involving a van and a delivery truck around 9 a.m. Thursday morning.
Police say a 58-year-old from Georgian Bluffs was pronounced dead at the scene. The OPP are not releasing the identity of the victim to respect the family’s privacy.
The driver of the other vehicle involved in the crash was taken to hospital as a precaution.
“The Grey Bruce OPP continue to investigate along with the OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) team and the Coroner’s office,” police say in a release.
Highway 10 was closed between McNab Street in Chatsworth to Grey Road 40, but reopened late Thursday evening.
