The County of Huron celebrated the completion of an affordable housing development, in Exeter.
The complex on Sanders Street features twenty one-bedroom units, seven of them fully accessible for those with mobility challenges.
A ribbon-cutting was held this week by County officials, marking the completion of the project that broke ground in the summer of 2023.
The building is equipped with laundry facilities, an elevator, and individual control over heating and air conditioning.
Each apartment is also furnished with a full-size refrigerator and stove.
The total cost of the project is approximately $7.47 million.
The ribbon-cutting follows an announcement of $1 million in funding from Bruce Power for a forty-unit affordable housing complex in Goderich.
