South Bruce OPP are investigating a fatal collision in Brockton.
OPP say on November 20th, at about 8:47 a.m., they received a report of a collision on Bruce Road 20 at Concession 2, in the Greenock area.
Police and paramedics arrived to find two passenger vehicles had collided.
Two patients were transported by EMS to a local hospital. A 76-year-old resident of Markdale was later pronounced dead.
Road closures were placed at the scene for the protection of emergency responders. Bruce Road 20 between Highway 9 and Concession 4 was closed for the duration of the investigation but are now being reopened.
The South Bruce OPP is continuing to investigate the collision along with members of the OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) team, and the Coroner’s office.
