The Alexandra Marine & General Hospital is recognizing Diabetes Awareness Month this November, with the creation of a time capsule.
Staff, patients, and visitors were asked to contribute items, messages, and mementos to the time capsule, that reflect their journey with diabetes.
The capsule will be sealed and preserved within the hospital, to be opened only when a cure for diabetes is found.
The AMGH has also installed blue lights at the entrance of the hospital for the month of November.
