The Canada Post strike will cause an interruption in postal service nationwide and will impact the delivery of mail and parcels.
The Town of Huntsville would like to notify residents of the following impacts:
- Pre-Authorized Monthly Tax Payment (PAP) withdrawal amount letters will be delayed. Residents who have chosen PAP for their taxes and are interested in knowing their withdrawal amounts can contact the Finance Department at finance@huntsville.ca, 705-789-1751 dial 2.
- Receipt of meeting notices respecting Planning Applications for consideration at the December 4th Planning Council meeting, mailed out on November 14th, 2024, could be delayed. - Shore road and road allowance closure applications that require circulation.
In addition, the District of Muskoka has made preparations to support residents, clients and customers who rely on postal services to access District services such as Ontario Works program support or for making water and sewer payments.
