There’s a community open house event set to be held in Owen Sound today.
City staff will be in the Shore Room at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday. They will be answering questions and hearing ideas from residents about city services.
“Understanding how our city operates is key to building a stronger community,” says Mayor Ian Boddy in a statement. “This Open House will shed light on the services we provide and how they impact the city, and it will offer an opportunity to answer questions from our citizens.”
You can also learn about upcoming city projects, connect with community groups and meet local leaders at the community open house event later today.
It’s a free event and everyone is welcome to attend.
