Bruce Telecom is going to be bringing their fibre optic service to the Gobles Grove area of Saugeen Shores.
The company says it’s committed to delivering service and supporting the community, as the region’s only local communications provider.
The rollout of the fibre optic service means faster and more reliable internet service. It also means options for Digital TV and home telephone service.
In a media release, President & CEO Ray Lahoud said “This initiative reflects our dedication to providing our community with the best possible connectivity and digital services, ensuring our residents and businesses can thrive in today’s digital world.”
Construction will begin next month, with customers able to connect as early as the spring of 2025.
Bruce Telecom says that the upgrade to fibre optic is free for all residents who want it.
