Bruce County Council approved the purchase of the Kincardine Paramedic Station.
The county had been leasing the property at 369 Lambton Street in Kincardine.
The owner of the property recently offered to sell the lot to the county for $768,000, plus applicable taxes.
Negotiations began after the county had started exploring options for building a new station elsewhere.
Bruce County Paramedic Services had been operating out of the location for the past 35 years.
The county had been paying $48,504 per year under the existing lease agreement.
The closing date for the property sale will be on or before November 1st.
