A new realtor event is coming to Owen Sound later this month.
Terri-Hastings Real Estate Group Keller Williams Realty Centres Co-Owner Jessica Hastings-Lesperance says their event is set to go Oct. 23 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Best Western in Owen Sound.
She says they were inspired to create the event after recently attending a large convention in Texas.
“The experience got us thinking, ‘wouldn’t it be great to have an event like this in our own community,’ and then we thought where we would want to create a space for realtors to come together, they can learn and they can grow without having to fly and be away from their families for an extended period,” says Hastings-Lesperance.
She says they have been planning a panel of producers and newer realtors to share their stories and strategies for the new event.
“While this event is designed for realtors, it’s also an excellent opportunity for anyone thinking about becoming a realtor and we have also opened it up to mortgage specialists, lawyers, and other professionals who contribute to the real estate industry as a whole, because we do all collaborate and work together,” says Hastings-Lesperance.
She feels attendees will also learn practical strategies for growing their businesses and how to stand out in a competitive market.
“Our market is very flooded with with realtors and if we think about it, wouldn’t it be great if somehow we could share knowledge with other people to help their business grow too,” says Hastings-Lesperance.
She says the overall goal of the event is to create a space where everyone involved in real estate can collaborate, share their insights, and learn from each other.
