Bruce County is going to consider buying a long-serving paramedic station in Kincardine.
This comes after the owner of the property at 369 Lambton Street sought to sell it in early fall, and has offered to sell it to the county for $738,000.
Deputy Chief Administrative Officer Sean Morphy says the county has been in negotiations to purchase the property.
The 9,042 square foot property has housed Bruce County Paramedic Services for 35 years.
The county will consider buying the property through a combination of internal financing and the Paramedic Services Capital Reserve.
Council will consider approving the purchase of the paramedic station during its meeting on Oct. 3 at 9:30 a.m.
