Classic and super cars alike descended on Cobble Beach over the weekend for the 10th annual Concours d’Elegance.
The event welcomed about 100 car owners between Friday and Sunday to show off their vehicles.
Founder and Show Chair Rob McLeese says he is thrilled to feature cars all the way from Newfoundland, Florida, Alaska, Tennessee, Missouri, and across Ontario.
“This prestigious event brings together automotive enthusiasts and collectors to showcase the most elegant and exceptional vehicles from around the world. From classic cars to contemporary prodigies, it’s a celebration of automotive artistry, craftsmanship, and history,” says McLeese.
To mark the 10th annual milestone of the event, this year included various super cars including Pininfarina Battista as well as recognize 60 years of Mustang, iconic Japanese sportscars, and vintage Japanese motorcycles.

Classic cars also took over downtown Owen Sound on the Saturday for Cars and Coffee as well as Concours d’Lemons.
Official Host of Concours d’Lemons Dave Hord says, “Concours d’Lemons is a fantastic celebration of the uncelebrated. It is the cars that I wish were on the green here on Sunday, but maybe not quite elegant enough to make it here. It’s a celebration of motoring, it’s the greatest cars that you remember from your youth, it’s the cars that your parents drove.”
The event wrapped up on Sunday with judging and the awards ceremony of the 19 classes of cars which ranged from Horseless Carriage pre 1916, European Production pre 1980, Glamour Cars of the Space Age, and Preservation Post War.
“Some of these cars, they don’t have much value in terms of monetary, but they are so special from their era. They mean a lot to me and to a lot of people,” says McLeese.
The event also operates as a fundraiser to support both the Brightshores Owen Sound Hospital Foundation and Sunnybrook Hospital Foundation, and this year aimed to raise $150,000.
“We are going to surpass $150,000 this year in terms of total funds raised. We will get to that point and since we are over the $1 million mark in January for Sunnybrook and for Owen Sound Hospital Foundation, my understanding is a good portion of the funds that we provided have gone towards a second MRI at the Owen Sound Hospital,” says McLeese.
