Environment Canada has issued a rainfall warning for Grey Bruce.
They say torrential downpours are expected with between 40 and 80 mm, (1-5 to 3 inches) of rainfall possible.
It could be intense at times.
It’s the remnants of Hurricane Beryl moving through the region.
It could begin overnight or Wednesday morning, and is expected to end Thursday.
Environment Canada says, “Although confidence in the exact track of the weather system remains somewhat uncertain, these type of systems in the past have given very high rainfall rates in torrential downpours. Rainfall amounts will likely be highly variable across the region, and some areas may receive in excess of 80 mm.”
