A Central Huron resident has been charged, after police say a vehicle fled the scene of a collision in Huron East.
First responders were called to a two-vehicle crash Monday along Winthrop Road, which sent an 80 year old passenger to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
OPP say one driver fled the scene on foot.
The next day, police say a 38 year old from Central Huron was arrested and charged with:
- Dangerous Driving Cause bodily harm
- Fail to stop at accident
- Drive while under suspension
- Drive motor vehicle no licence
- Operate motor vehicle without insurance
Officers say the individual remains in custody, and the investigation is ongoing.
