South Bruce OPP say a man from Walkerton is facing drug charges following a traffic stop.
Police say on May 17 at 10:24 a.m., members of the Community Street Crime Unit conducted a vehicle stop. During the interaction, the attending officers found reasonable grounds to arrest the driver for drug related offences.
The driver was taken into custody without incident, and police say a search of both the driver and the vehicle led to the discovery of a quantity of cocaine.
With the assistance of the Grey Bruce Community Street Crime Unit, a search warrant was executed at a home on Sepp Court in Walkerton.
The search resulted in a quantity of suspected cocaine being seized, along with psilocybin and drug paraphernalia, valuating about $3,800.
The 44-year-old accused is facing possession of a substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of a substance.
They are set to appear in court in Walkerton next month.
