Owen Sound is making the process of submitting and tracking building permit applications easier with a new program.
The city says Cloudpermit is now available, which is designed to help streamline the city’s permit management process by making it more efficient, transparent, and user-friendly.
“As a result, applicants can now fill out their building permit application online, eliminating the requirement for manual submissions and significantly expediting the process,” says the city.
Through Cloudpermit, people will be able access a centralized platform for managing applications, approvals and tracking. It can also be accessed anywhere at any time and provides real-time updates.
“The city’s building department will continue to accept applications in other formats at this time, however, the processing of those applications will take longer than if submitted through the online digital application process,” says the city.
