Plans are underway to start streaming Provincial Junior Hockey League games in Grey Bruce.
A staff report recently came before Hanover councillors recommending they approve the installation of cameras in the P & H Centre to enable Junior C game streaming.
The PJHL has been working to install cameras in arenas throughout the league since late last year.
The staff report notes, the cameras would only record the ice surface during the games, and would be turned off once the game is over.
Staff say, games will be streamed through PJHLTV.ca
Viewers can subscribe or pay as they go. Town staff say the PJHL will stream the games using its own internet connection, not the Town’s.
Local Provincial Junior Hockey League Pollock Division teams include the Hanover Barons, Kincardine Bulldogs, and Walkerton Capitals.
