South Bruce OPP say sections of Highway 21 is closed as a result of the poor visibility.
As a snow squall warning is in effect for the region, Police say Highway 21 is closed from Kincardine to Port Elgin and to Amberley as a result of the high winds, blowing snow and poor to no visibility.
Additionally, Police say Lake Range Drive is closed from Lurgan Lane to Concession 2 as a result of downed trees and power lines.
Environment Canada says the snow squall warning in effect to at least Monday, can produce near zero visibility at times.
Between 15 to 50 centimeters of heavy snowfall is estimated to accumulate by Monday evening and is accompanied by 70 kilometer an hour gusting winds.
Environment Canada advises postponing non-essential travel until conditions improve.
