Grey Roots Museum & Archives is going to be closed temporarily in the new year.
The museum will be shutting its doors on Jan. 7 and won’t reopen until Feb. 9, 2024.
Grey Roots celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2024, and in a release the museum says the closure will allow staff to focus on preparations for activities to mark the milestone.
“Education programs and private group tours continue to be available throughout the closure, and researchers may schedule research sessions with the archives,” a statement from the museum explains.
