South Bruce OPP have charged a man after a home invasion in Kincardine.
OPP say on November 28th at about 5:45 a.m. they received a report of a home invasion along Princes Street south in Kincardine.
Officers say they arrived to find that the homeowner had been injured and the suspect had already left.
Now, as a result of the police investigation, the suspect was identified and arrested into custody after a brief struggle with police.
A 24 year old West Perth man has been charged with:
Break and Enter
Assault with a Weapon – 2 counts
Flight from Peace Officer
Dangerous Driving
Assault Peace Officer – 2 counts
Theft under $5,000
Fail to Comply with Probation Order – 2 counts
The accused remains in custody pending the result of their next show cause hearing scheduled for December 8, 2023.
