Bruce County has named Sean Morphy as its new Deputy CAO.
Morphy was appointed to the position this week, but won’t officially take over until December.
He currently serves as the Director of Human Resources and brings 15 years of experience in management, labour relations, organizational development, and project and change management experience.
His first day at his new position will be on December 16th, when Christine MacDonald takes over as Chief Administrative Officer for the county.
MacDonald takes over as CAO with the retirement of Derrick Thomson, which was announced in October of this year.
The county announced that Thomson’s last day will be December 15th.
