Police, paramedics and firefighters responded to a missing child call in Sauble Beach early Wednesday evening.
The child had been in the beach area when they went missing. There was concern the child might have gone into the water.
Numerous police cruisers were seen responding to the beach area as well as EMS vehicles and local volunteer firefighters.
The Owen Sound Fire Department’s marine rescue 7 was paged to Sauble Beach while off-duty firefighters were also called in. A helicopter was also seen in the area.
Grey Bruce OPP say in an update to Bayshore Broadcasting News, the child was eventually found on the beach, not in the water. They were not injured.
