The Township of Georgian Bluffs is looking for people to sit on a Short-Term Accommodation (STA) Working Group.
The township says it is forming the group, which will provide insight that will shape council decisions.
“The working group offers a unique opportunity for deeper conversations, discussion, and increased awareness of issues within our community related to short-term accommodations,” says the township.
By bringing together a diverse group, the township says it will foster an understanding of the challenges and opportunities of STA’s.
The group will consist of nine members, including three residents, three providers of STA’s, and three business operators or representatives.
Those interested in joining the group can submit an application on the municipal website here by July 13. Three names will be drawn from each application pool on July 14.
