The Bruce County Rail Trail may experience temporary closures as corridor and surface improvements commence next week.
The county says starting June 12, the trail will be undergoing improvements between Bruce Road 40 and Mill Creek Trestle Bridge in Port Elgin.
The work includes corridor widening and the application of aggregate material to improve trail accessibility.
The job is expected to be completed by the end of June.
The 80-kilometre multi-use trail connects to a number of towns like Port Elgin, Kincardine, Paisley, Walkerton, and Mildmay.
