Kincardine Council was able to hear a presentation regarding the Kincardine Summer Music Festival.
Claire Andrusiak, who is the Chair for the festival says that this year they’ll be running a summer day camp for children aged 4-9.
It will include a rotation of classes that includes art, music, dance movement, and creative science activities.
The camp started last year and saw full enrolment.
Adrusiak says that they’re looking forward to this summer, adding that “We already have a wait list for 2023, with over 50 participants from the municipality of Kincardine.”
They’re also planning to offer voice and choir for all ages, including a senior class, along with fiddle, instrumental band, and strings.
The board is also busy planning their concert lineup for their concert series, which they’re hoping to announce in the coming months.
The KSMF Summer Day Camp will run in two sessions, from July 31-August 4th, and again from August 7-11.
