Caledon is opening a new skating rink today.
The John Clarkson Park Skate Loop will celebrate the grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Mayor Annette Groves and Caledon Town Council members will be in attendance.
The rink features a concrete base that is cooled using cooling tubes. This allows ice to be frozen during the skating season.
The rink located on Dougall Avenue will be open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
