Environment Canada says wintry weather could be coming this way Wednesday afternoon into Thursday.
They’re forecasting travel will become difficult Wednesday afternoon, with 5 to 12 cm of snow and reduced visibility in Southern Grey and Bruce Counties.
The weather agency says a Texas low tracking south of the area will bring snow Wednesday and cause difficult travel conditions. They say snow will taper off or end early Thursday morning.
Environment Canada says drivers should expect hazardous winter driving conditions and adjust travel plans accordingly. They say to prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions and take extra care when walking or driving in affected areas.
Parts of Ontario could see up to 20 cm of snow Wednesday including the GTA and Ottawa.
Counties surrounding Grey Bruce could get up to 15 cm including Huron-Perth, Simcoe and Dufferin Counties.
