Bruce County Paramedics are receiving a community donation of $1,000.
The county says the donation to support regional paramedic services came from Marvin Freiburger and Sons Inc. and was presented to Deputy Chief Ray Lux on Dec. 7 by Angela Freiburger.
The funds will be used to help purchase CPR manikins, which are used to simulate real-life situations to assist with training.
“Marvin Freiburger and Sons Inc. appreciates the emergency services in the area and wants to acknowledge all the first responders that go out on a limb every day to keep people safe,” says Angela.
Paramedic Services Chief Steve Schaus adds, “Bruce County Paramedic Services is very honoured that Marvin and Angela think of us every year, support our service, and give back to the community.”
