The Artisans Holiday Show & Sale is coming to the Bayshore to start off December.
The show will have artisans and vendors from all over Grey and Bruce Counties.
Committee member Shawna Harvey says that this is the perfect opportunity to support local business owners, do some holiday shopping, and also support youth mental health initiatives for the Canadian Mental Health Association.
The vendors include glassworkers, metal workers, yarn and felt artists, foodies, and much more.
“You would be hard pressed to not be able to find something for someone on your [shopping] list at this show,” says Harvey, who is also the owner of Big Mama’s Kitchen Creations.
The event is going to be catered by Fresh Roots Cafe & Catering, which is an initiative by CMHA Grey Bruce.
All of the door proceeds from the event are going to be donated to CMHA Grey Bruce to support their Youth Awareness & Education Program.
Harvey says, “It always seems like the kids don’t get as much help as they should. That’s our focus for this year’s fundraiser.”
There are also accepting separate donations for the CMHA all weekend.
Some vendors and artisans taking part include:
– Kelly Maw
– Susan Sparks
– Margrit Olson
– Ingrid Hunt
– The Chocolate Garden
– Donald’s Honey
– Talies Tarts and Such
– Crust & Crackle
The Artisans Holiday Show & Sale will be December 2nd from 5-9 and December 3rd & 4th from 9-5 at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre, 1900 3rd Avenue East, Owen Sound.
