The results are in for the 2022 provincial election and Premier Doug Ford has won his second majority government.

PC’s Doug Ford was re-elected with a majority win. NDP leader Andrea Horwath and Liberal leader Steven Del Duca both announced they are stepping down from their positions.
BARRIE SPRINGWATER ORO-MEDONTE
-It was a nail-biting race to the finish last night in the riding of Barrie-Springwater-Oro-Medonte. But as the final poll numbers came in, PC incumbent Doug Downey took the win over Liberal and former Barrie mayor Jeff Lehman.
