The Four County Labour Market Planning Board has a new Executive Director.
The planning board says Sarah Pelton assumed the role as of April 4.
Board Co-Chair Dave Trumble and member of the committee which was tasked with the search for a new executive director, says as they say goodbye to Gemma Mendez-Smith, they could not have been more fortunate than to have a new executive director with overwhelming qualifications, recent experience working for the board, and a passion for the work.
The board says there will be a transition period where Pelton and Mendez-Smith will be in the office at the same time.
The board thanks Mendez-Smith for her work and expertise which served the needs of the organization and the community for two decades.
The board says they and their staff are excited to work with Pelton as she puts her own passion, style and expertise into the work and on behalf of the community.
