Due to the inclement weather, all school buses and vans to schools in ALL weather zones of Simcoe County are cancelled today, along with all buses to schools in Muskoka, Haliburton and Kawartha Lakes for the Trillium Lakelands District School Board.
Schools are closed to students and remote learning will be offered to all students within the region.
All school vehicles to St. Dominic Catholic Secondary School, Monsignor Michael O’Leary and Saint Mary Catholic Elementary Schools have been cancelled.
UPDATE – SCDSB and SMCDSB have announced all schools are now closed today.
Due to poor visibility and deteriorating road conditions, a decision has been made to close all schools and board office locations in the Simcoe Muskoka District School Board today. This means that in addition to buses being cancelled, our school buildings will be closed for all students and staff. Students can access remote learning through their virtual learning classroom.
*All schools in Simcoe County are closed today. As such, all YMCA Child Care programs and Before and After school programs are closed as well. We apologize for the inconvenience.
*For the safety of our staff and clients all SMDHU #COVID19 community vaccine clinics are closed today due to poor weather conditions.
