The National Football League season concluded on Sunday with some staggering turn of events.
Wins by Pittsburgh, the Raiders and San Francisco propelled those teams into playoff positions when even as late as Sunday it appeared their chances of getting to the post season were slim.
So now that the regular season smoke has cleared, here are the matchups for the days ahead.
On Saturday there are 2 AFC games, the North Champion Cincinnati Bengals will host Las Vegas followed by the AFC East winning Buffalo Bills hosting their divisional rivals the New England Patriots.
What’s interesting about the Bills-Patriots matchup is the road team has won both of their previous matches.
Then Sunday there’s 3 games; NFC South Champion Tampa Bay will entertain Philadelphia, NFC East winners Dallas will play host to San Francisco & in the nightcap, back to the AFC where the West winners from Kansas City will host Pittsburgh
Finally, in a rarity, but what makes for good TV, there’s a Monday night playoff game with the Arizona Cardinals in LA to meet the West winners, the Rams
I did decently this year on ProLine Sundays with Point Spread, so I’m confident with the following ” straight up ” picks.
Saturday; Cincinnati with Joe Burrow at the helm & Buffalo.
Sunday; Tom Brady & Tampa Bay, the Cowboys & Kansas City against a Pittsburgh team that’s got to be on fumes.
Then on Monday, that’s the tough one since both teams seem to be trending down, so I’ll take Arizona.
