Hydro crews are working to address a few scattered power outages in Bruce and Grey counties this morning, after some strong winds kicked up in the region last night.
Around 500 homes and businesses are currently without power in the region, most notably in the Sauble Beach and Walters Falls areas.
There’s no estimated restoration time yet for the Sauble outage. The issue in the Walters Falls area is expected to be fixed by around noon.
One school closure has been announced today due to a power outage: Egremont Community School in Holstein is closed.
Meanwhile, the lights were off for several hours for thousands of homes in Owen Sound and area late last night, but crews have since restored power.
